Melbourne drug and alcohol research organization Turning Point are holding another Talking Point presentation, this time regarding the use of peer support programs in the treatment of addiction.
The presentation, to be held on Thursday, November 26th, will provide information on recent research demonstrating the effectiveness of peer support based programs in relation to the treatment of drug and alcohol addiction.
Heather Pickard, current CEO of Self Help Addiction Research Centre (SHARC), and Michael Savic (PhD) a Research Fellow in the Treatment and Systems team at Turning Point’s offices in Fitzroy, will be leading the presentation, which is to be held at 142 Gertrude Street, Fitzroy.
The event is free, however those wishing to attend must register by November 23rd.
