International FASD Awareness day

Wednesday 9 September marks International Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) Awareness day, and there are a number of events being held in support.

The Australian FASD Network are running a campaign asking you to show your support by not drinking alcohol on FASD Awareness Day. You could also post on social media to raise awareness of the issue.

NOFASD Australia will be active on the day, and you can follow their work on social media or donate on their website.

You could also get behind FARE’s Women Want to Know campaign, which encourages health professionals to speak to women who are pregnant or planning pregnancy about alcohol consumption.
