This Thursday 10 September, The Centre for Health and Social Research (CHaSR) in Melbourne is hosting a lunchtime research seminar entitled ‘Policing and pathways to diversion and care among vulnerable young people who use alcohol and drugs’.
Presented by Rachael Green, the seminar will focus on challenges and opportunities that are produced within young people’s encounters with police. It will explore insights into approaches that are likely to enhance outcomes for young offenders, but also have potential to assist police in their work. It’s based on a study of the alcohol and other drug system in Sydney and Melbourne.
