Video: Step Back Think

The organisation Step Back Think was formed in 2008 to combat street violence, especially alcohol-fuelled violence. This summer there’ll be over 5,000 street assaults in Australia; 80% of the victims will be male and under the influence of alcohol.

For six weeks over Christmas and the New Year period, they’re running a campaign to demonstrate to young men how bad decisions can be sidestepped. By showing young men the impact of a single poor decision, they hope to encourage positive decision-making, and ultimately reduce the incidence of street violence in Australia this summer.
