Alcohol has a serious impact on staff and other patients in emergency departments.
That’s the conclusion of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine’s (ACEM) Alcohol Harm in Emergency Departments 2014 Survey.
The ACEM spoke to 2000 doctors about their experiences in the largest survey of its kind to be carries out in Australia and New Zealand.
You can get a first-hand glimpse of the survey findings and hear about the reality of alcohol harm from the doctors who deal with it on a daily basis at the upcoming launch event.
