Earlier this year GrogWatch told you about the Victorian Alcohol Policy Coalition (APC) concerns about Woolworths selling Duff Beer in their Dan Murphy stores.
Health experts were concerned that the beer was designed to appeal to children because it directly mimicked the beer made famous for more than 25 years in The Simpsons cartoon television series.
The APC filed complaints to the industry-run Alcohol Beverages Advertising Code (ABAC) Scheme. The ABAC Scheme panel have found that the concerns were valid and the complaints have been upheld.
