This alcohol industry-run group produced an ad pretending to be a health promotion campaign, which is in fact a push by CUB (Carlton and United Breweries) to get people to drink more booze at the footy.
You won’t miss a moment if you DrinkWise features a footy player superimposed onto a pint of beer, serving to magnify the link between the sport and alcohol.
FARE has hit back by putting out a counter-campaign, Alcohol Truth, including a video highlighting what it describes as the true nature of the organisation.
