Women Want to Know – Pregnancy and Alcohol

Women Want to Know is a campaign that encourages health professionals to talk about alcohol with women who are pregnant or planning pregnancy, and includes a range of resources for health professionals and women.

Assistant Minister for Health, Senator the Hon Fiona Nash will launch the campaign.

Women Want to Know has been developed by the Foundation for Alcohol Research and Education (FARE) in collaboration with the Australian Government Department of Health, the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP), Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG), Australian College of Midwives (ACM), and Australian Medical Association (AMA), the Australian Medicare Locals Alliance (AMLA) and the Maternity Coalition.

Women Want to Know is supported by funding from the Australian Government Department of Health.
