Want to improve drug and alcohol outcomes for your clients or your community?
Join us in Wollongong from the 25–26 June for Creating Synergy 2014: Engaging clients, couples and communities.
This year Creating Synergy has reached a significant milestone and will celebrate its 10th Anniversary. Since the debut of Creating Synergy in 1994, the entity has built a strong reputation as a forum for health professionals from drug and alcohol, mental health and community related services to enhance their skills.
Creating Synergy is pleased to announce that this year’s event will be in partnership with the Australian Drug Foundation and will consist of two separate forums at the one venue.
Forum one, Engaging Clients & Couples will be aimed at clinicians who provide counselling and therapeutic interventions. This forum will be presented by Elliott Connie, a new and emerging international clinician and presenter from the United States.
Forum two, Engaging Communities will be aimed at people seeking to improve drug and alcohol prevention within their work or community, such as Community Drug Action Team members, community workers or health educators. This forum will be presented by a range of Australian-based key note speakers and workshop facilitators including Geoff Munro, John Rogerson, Prof Sandra Jones, Prof Brian Draper, Dr. John Toumbourou and Dr. John Howard.
