Award spells another step forward for WA teen drinking laws

GrogWatch congratulates West Australian parent Samantha Menezes on winning the 2013 Injury Control Council of WA’s Outstanding Achievement Award. Samantha has been campaigning for many months for the introduction of teen drinking (secondary supply) laws in WA.

Victoria recently introduced the laws after a long campaign by Bruce Clark and the Australian Drug Foundation. This leaves only WA, SA and ACT parents without the right to stop other adults supplying their child with alcohol.

GrogWatch will continue to report on the progress of the West Australian campaign.
