Health groups have called for a ban on alcohol advertising during televised sport, after new research revealed up to a fifth of last year’s AFL and NRL grand final broadcasts featured alcohol promotions. ”If we are serious about protecting our kids this is the stuff we have to stop,” said Australian Drug Foundation chief executive John Rogerson.
