Over 130 Attend DrugInfo Seminar

Over 130 people attended last week’s DrugInfo Seminar in person and online.  Attendees from as far as Byron Bay to Perth heard lively debate and discussion from a panel of 4 experts in the areas of alcohol related harm, urban planning, alcohol outlet density and city issues.

Dr. Peter Streker, Director of Community Stars and author of the latest Prevention Research Quarterly, spoke about the critical role local government plays in coordinating community action around alcohol. He also spoke about the positive changes several city councils have made to their night time economy including the City of Wagga Wagga, City of Port Philip and City of Stonnington.
